There’s a new way which is becoming quite popular these days: use google adwords to make donations. How? Well it’s even easier than with paypal and much less expensive for the user.
Google adwords model is well understood: when you click on a google adwords the advertiser pays for the click, the revenue is shared between google and the site owner.
When visiting a website with extremely useful content - or that offers very good services for free - generally you can find some google adwords boxes. Just click on one of those and you are donating money to the website owner. Easy, innit?!

No, it’s not. This is stealing from the advertiser. If you want to donate to a site, use your own money, not someone else’s.
